A community for fathers raising sons with discipline, character, and the courage to do hard things. Rooted in Stoic philosophy. Grounded in real life.
The Dads with Values community is built on three Stoic principles that have guided athletes, generals, and great fathers for two thousand years.
Virtue is built through action, not intention. Daily habits, consistent effort, and the willingness to do what's hard when it would be easier to stop. Discipline is character made visible.
The Stoics were ruthless about distinguishing what's in our control from what isn't. Young men who learn this early spend less energy on noise and more on the things that actually matter.
The obstacle is the way. Adversity is not to be avoided โ it's to be used. Teaching sons to meet difficulty with curiosity rather than fear is the most important gift a father can give.
Not a course. Not a video library. A real mentorship โ structured, progressive, and directly guided by Maximilian. For young men aged 16โ25 who are ready to take their development seriously.
We start with the core Stoic framework: the dichotomy of control. Most young men waste enormous energy on things outside their influence. These first three weeks map the terrain โ understanding self, values, and where real leverage lives.
The body is the proving ground for everything else. Participants build a structured physical practice โ not just fitness, but the relationship between physical effort and mental character. Drawing from Maximilian's decades of competitive tennis and athletic coaching.
Modern culture rewards performance and penalises quiet effort. These weeks focus on craft, long-term thinking, and developing the internal compass that makes a young man reliable โ whether anyone is watching or not.
The final block turns outward: how to be a good friend, a loyal son, a dependable teammate. The Stoics were explicit that virtue without community is incomplete. We close by building the social and relational muscle that will carry these men for the rest of their lives.
Modern fatherhood is harder than it looks. The culture offers your son everything โ and almost nothing of substance. The Dads with Values community exists for fathers who see this clearly and are doing something about it.
This is a peer community for dads who want to compare notes, share frameworks, and support each other in the project of raising sons with genuine character. No performance. No noise. Just honest conversation between men who take it seriously.
